Wave Race: Blue Storm Mini-Review by Troopa

Wave Race: Blue Storm was one of the first GameCube games released, and it is still one of the best racing games for any system. You can choose from nine drivers and ten courses.
The graphics are great, the drivers look good and smooth. The tracks are designed well and have many great effects such as snow, killer whales, boats, etc. The sense of speed is good and you have great control over your character to turn tight and pull off sweet stunts! The sounds of the engine and water are also very good. The only downside with the graphics is that at some angles the water looks like wax, but that's not even an issue really.
The water is amazing in Wave Race: Blue Storm. I have yet to see better water effects and physics in a video game. The water responds to your jet ski's wake, other drivers, objects falling into the water, the weather, and other things. A lot of work must have gone into creating realistic water and it was well worth it.
Wave Race: Blue Storm has a championship mode, time trials, a cool stunt mode, and it supports up to 4-player racing. Racing with your friends is awesome, just make sure you have a good sized television if you're playing with more than two people or it may be a little hard to see what you're doing!
Conclusion
If you have any interest in racing games then you should pick this one up. Great graphics, great sound, great control, and fun gameplay has made this one of my favorite racing games. This is a superb game for one-player or more!
