Mario Kart: Super Circuit / Tracks / Flower Cup
The Flower Cup, consisting of the Mario Circuit, Boo Lake, Cheese Land, and the Bowser Castle 2 courses, ups the difficulty from the Mushroom Cup considerably. Here, all the courses are longer, tougher to navigate, and contain more dangers than you’ve experienced thus far.

Mario Circuit
Map Numbers
1. Line your kart up with one wheel over each row of Coins to pick up all six in one pass.
2. Let the Coins guide you through these turns. Keep the kart straight, and you'll shoot through as fast as can be.
3. Save a Mushroom or a Star to use here. Power-slide towards the grass before you make the wide right turn, and jump out to a big lead by cutting across the grass.
4. Be sure to hop over the grass and into pit row for eight Coins and a speedy start to your next lap via the Dash Pad.
Course Overview
The Mario Circuit is the quintessential raceway. Everything from hairpin turns and chicanes to pit row are included for your racing enjoyment. Although it may look a lot like Peach Circuit, it's a faster and more difficult track. Sandpits line the outsides of turns while grass and trees occupy the infield.
Hazards
No roaming crabs or leaping flames here, just good old-fashioned asphalt. Of course, you will have to watch out for the trees if you decide to take your kart off road. Like those at the Peach Circuit, trees will slow you down but won't take any of your Coins.

Boo Lake
Map Numbers
1. Release the A Button just before hitting the second jump to slow down your kart enough to avoid soaring over the Dash Pads on the far side.
2. Resist the urge to drive across the shimmering bridge unless you are trying to collect each and every Coin. It's a very high-risk, low return shortcut.
3. Line up with the logs where they don't overlap one another and tap the R Button to hop over them. This will allow you to better maintain your speed.
4. Stick to the center of the road if time is of the essence. Otherwise, hit the jumps to leap over the holes in the road and pick up Coins on either side.
Course Overview
Ghosts, eerie music, and rickety bridges make Boo Lake one of the creepiest courses in the game. Count on being put to the test when the lights go green, as numerous holes in the track and breakaway guardrails swallow up all but the most skilled drivers.
Hazards
The Boo Lake track is a large wooden bridge suspended over a dark abyss. What was likely a busy road at one time has since fallen by the wayside and suffers from neglect-with all of those spooks hovering about, is it any wonder? Because of this, the road is in very bad shape. Aside from gaps, holes, and lots of loose logs lying about, the guardrails will break loose when you bump into them. Although you might not fall off the tack by hitting a guardrail, there won't be one to save you should you need it on the next lap. On a positive note, at least the ghosts are friendly.
- Falling: Lose two Coins and, well, you fall... imagine that.

Cheese Land
Map Numbers
1. Avoid meandering all over the place through this section. Instead, set your sites on the cheese towers and drive in a straight line between them.
2. Heading into this straight-away is a great place to use the power-slide turbo maneuver. Double-dip with a Mushroom for a monstrous boost of raw speed!
3. Don't slide too far through these turns, or you'll risk not cleaning the straight-away when you hit the jump. Should that happen, you'll have to drive back through both jumps and try it again.
4. Use a Mushroom or Star to zip across the inside of this bend, thus cutting large amounts of real estate off the course.
Note: There are 50 coins on this course.
Course Overview
If you've ever wondered what it would be like to streak across an endless field of cheese in a go-kart, this is your chance to find out-thankfully without the aromatic side effects. The Cheese Land course is a twisty, slippery devil of a course that will test your mastery of the power-slide turbo technique.
Hazards
With all of this cheese, is it any wonder that the course is crawling with mice? Like the crabs that wreaked havoc at Shy Guy Beach, these masked vermin will scamper back and forth across the road in front of you. Unfortunately, mousy banditos aren't your only worry; there are also strategically placed towers of cheese that can bring your vulnerable kart to a bone-jarring halt.
- Mice: Lose four Coins and spin out of control.

Bowser Castle 2
Map Numbers
1. Swing out of this turn as wide as you can and feather the throttle until you are perfectly lined up with the Dash Pad.
2. Turn hard to the right as you leap over the third lava pit. Try to come to a brief halt to let your tires catch grip, and then aim for the Dash Pad on the inside of the turn.
3. Stay to the left through this section to reduce the number of lava jumps and to grab more Coins. Of course, four Coins and an Item Box can be found on the right side of the large gap.
4. Keep to the center of the road here to avoid facing an impossible jump over a lava pit. Grab the Item Box and keep to the middle of the track for the Coins that follow.
Note: There are 50 coins on this course.
Course Overview
It's time for another foray into the lava-filled depths of Bowser Castle, and this is one course worthy of a sequel. Bowser saw how well you avoided his lava traps in the Mushroom Cup and has since added hot, slippery metal grating throughout the course. One wrong turn and you'll get cooked for certain.
Hazards
One of the most enduring trends in games involving that portly Italian plumber, Mario, is the combination of lava and Bowser, and that is one trend not about to change. Bowser Castle 2 has more of that tire-melting hot stuff than you can shake a stick at.
- Block Statues: Lose eight Coins and get flattened.
- Flames: Lose four Coins and spin out of control.
- Lava: Lose two Coins and sink.
Note: You can gain a Turbo Start when you're fished out of the lava. It takes some practice, but you can jet back into the race by pressing the A Button right before Lakitu lowers you onto the track. Be careful, though, as you can end up smoking your tires if you press the A Button too early.
Please continue to the Lightning Cup.
