Mario Kart: Super Circuit / Tracks / Extra Tracks

Just because you've won the Gold Trophy in the Special Cup, that doesn't mean you've beaten the game. No, sir - you've only raced half the courses available in Mario Kart: Super Circuit. That's right, you can unlock an additional 20 courses!

Unlocking the Extra Tracks
Once you've gotten Gold Trophies in all of the cups in Mario GP Mode, return to one of the Cups and race it again. Place in each race and collect at least 100 Coins, and you'll unlock that Cup's "Extra" Cup. The Extra Cups are available only in the engine class that you used to unlock it. Continue earning Gold Trophies in all of the engine classes to unlock the Extra Cups for 50cc, 100cc, and 150cc.

What About Time Trial Mode?
To unlock the Extra Cup tracks in Time Trial Mode, you must unlock them in the 150cc engine class.

Have Some Time On Your Hands?
The Extra Cups feature five-lap races in Mario GP Mode. However, you can still race the standard three-lap races in Quick Run Mode.
