View The Best Times
At the intro screen, keep hold of A, B, L, and R and it will show the best times for all the tracks.

Course Ghosts
To make the special Course Ghosts appear, complete Time Trial runs on these courses:

Luigi Raceway (1:52:00)
Mario Raceway (1:30:00)
Royal Raceway (2:40:00).

If you meet or beat the times listed, a Course Ghost will challenge you on your next run.

Mirror Tracks
To race the tracks backwards, first, you must beat every CC and get a GOLD CUP in every race. Then, there will be a new option under all of the CC, also, to tell if you did it right, there will be a new picture at the Main Screen.

New Title Screen
To be awarded with a new title screen (and mirror courses) beat the game (get a gold trophy) on 50cc, 100cc and 150cc on Mushroom cup, Flower Cup, Star Cup and Special cup.
